Original Mixed Media
About the Art
My compositions merge hand-pulled acrylic gel monoprints, inks, cyanotypes, and metallic accents, ranging in scale from intimate 4x4" panels to substantial 24" works.
Rooted in a tropical aesthetic, the collection features the organic curves of flowing botanicals, seaside textures, and occasional wildlife motifs. By anchoring each piece with deep shades and meticulously hand-layering the cut paper, the artwork achieves visual depth within a two-dimensional plane.
Every original is mounted on a cradled, gallery-depth birch panel and encapsulated in a smooth, high-gloss resin. This luminous topcoat magnifies the hand-detailed surface textures and suspends the bright metallic elements within the layers, beautifully contrasted by the exposed wood grain of the panel edges. All pieces are archival, one-of-a-kind originals, hand-signed and dated.
